89 Days

Alia “Moz” Maselli has spent her entire life living in Chicago, a home that she has loved despite the struggles she and her family faced living there. From little on, she had dreams of becoming a lawyer and work at a nonprofit helping families like her. But then her sister’s substance use spiraled out of control, and Moz changed course to something that could earn her money faster – she became a law enforcement officer, spending three years on the beat before receiving a promotion to detective within homicide. Though never her intended career, she found solace solving puzzles and giving families answers – not to mention helping her own family.

Things went well for a while, but then her sister spiraled once more and disappeared. A year later, when her sister reached out swearing she had turned her life around, that she now lived in Madison and wanted to work to repay everything, Moz finally had hope.

But shortly after, Moz received a call from a Madison detective – her sister had been found dead from an overdose. But Moz’s gut told her that there was something off about her sister’s supposed overdose, and she was going to search until she found the truth.

Though if Moz is right, that means there is someone out there with blood on their hands.

How much blood is the question.
